Road Rally/Treasure Hunt to benefit Small Bridges Oct. 24 – Oct 16, 2015

Staff Report

Looking for something to do? Does a Road Rally/Treasure Hunt sound interesting? Well, Saturday is the day.

Registration for the SOS Adventure Trek starts at 1:30 p.m. at Louie’s Café, 117 S. Tennessee St., Cartersville. The Trek is designed with families in mind, for fun and adventure on a fall Saturday afternoon. Routes are intended for motorcycles as well as other vehicles.

This is not a race, but a competition intended to pit the skills of teams against information that is riddled with clues, hints and mysterious suggestions on how to safely drive a local course. Contestants will pay $20 each, which will include a T-shirt and dinner.

There will be a choice of two different routes — one generally designed for cars and trucks, and a second route for bikers. All proceeds go directly to help a family with adoption expenses.

According to http://www.smallbridges.org, “Small Bridges is a non-profit organization which was formed to help Christian families by creating a feasible monetary solution.”
